Technically, it’s not actually day one but for my blog’s sake, it’s gonna be.
Before I took my gap year I was a healthy size 8/10 and I was really happy with my body but during my year out, I started to become really lazy and stopped exercising and started to eat whatever I liked. It got worse when I flew to Asia for 8 months and I started eating all the yummy foods like nasi lemak (especially nasi lemak ganja!!), roti canai, mee goreng, satay, laksa, char kuey teow, bak kut teh, won ton mee and how can I forget the FRIED CHICKEN, of course I was gonna pile on the pounds!
When I got back to UK and went straight to uni, I never really got a chance to exercise because I was too busy thinking about other things like working (getting drunk). But now I’ve settled down and not as much as the party animal as I used to be (…) I want to concentrate more on my health and my weight and to push myself to a body I’m happy with inside and out.
So to help me with my goal, I’m using this blog to share my inspirations, ideas, food and exercise tips and to vent my stress at achieving my goal.
To begin with, I started this a few weeks ago. I’ve started drinking Kimberly Snyder’s Glowing Green Smoothie. It’s a great way to incorporate plenty of veg in your diet without even realising it! You can find the recipe here.

Another thing that I’ve been doing in terms of exercise (which I have my twin Fafa to thank!) is following youtube videos like HIIT Workout for weight loss, Jillian Michael’s 30 day shred, Billy Blanks Jr: bootcamp cardio dance workout and Beyonce: “Move your body” [full workout routine]
They’ve been a lot of fun and really easy to follow! I tried jogging with my housemate Zak along the beach the other week but it absolutely killed me. I find that doing these youtube videos are a lot easier to follow and more enjoyable! So far so good too, I keep up with them even though I feel like I’m gonna die! But only time can tell, I have no idea if they’re gonna work on me or not but we’ll see!
